A new automotive company, Versat Automobile Limited, has entered Nigeria’s vehicle market with the launch of C&C heavy-duty trucks, promising durable and reliable solutions built specifically for Nigerian roads and operating conditions.
The company, established in 2024, says it is focused on delivering high-performance commercial vehicles backed by strong after-sales support.
Versat officially unveiled the C&C Trucks range on February 6, 2026, marking its first major step into Nigeria’s heavy-duty truck segment. The trucks are expected to serve industries such as logistics, construction, mining, and infrastructure development.
Speaking at the launch, Non-Executive Director Alhaji Francis Ogboro said the company is committed to supporting Nigerian businesses with dependable trucks designed for local realities and supported by a solid service network.
The newly introduced C&C Model U400 6×4, available in Tractor, Dump, and Chassis variants, comes with a 400-horsepower engine capable of generating 1800Nm of torque. Built for heavy-duty operations, the truck combines strong load capacity with fuel efficiency and durability for demanding environments.
Versat said its partnership with global manufacturer C&C Trucks ensures access to internationally tested technology while adapting products to Nigeria’s specific needs.
The company is backed by industry professionals with a combined 187 years of automotive experience, alongside investors from diverse sectors including manufacturing, engineering, legal services, and real estate.
